Death Trash... anyone remember them?

There was a band on the Metal Hammer compilation album....hmmmm.... think "Best Of British Steel" that Soho Roses were also on, called Death Trash. The song was called Queen Of The Night and I've loved that track since I bought the compilation.

I think they only released 1 album
"10,000 R.P.M. Groove Orgy" but I've never heard it. Is it any good?

Great band. in 89 I was working at a small indie label and the head of A&R (an Irishman new to UK) wanted to check out Death Trash at a gig at Sheffield Uni. He asked me to come along as he was unfamiliar with Sheffield. We saw Death Trash open for the Pink Fairies. They were an ace 3 piece , Zodiac Mindwarp affair fronted by the real cool geezer called Murray (vox/Guitar)
After they played the A&R man warned me not to get all muso - matey with them and to remember we were there in a professional capacity.

The only iffy point was that the bass player looked a bit un-rock n roll compared to the other two. The A&R man politely mentioned that he might wanna look to fit in a bit more. The bass player got well shirty and announced he was leaving the band with immediate effect. Murray followed him to the doors where we could see then having an animated discussing , before Murray came back and said' Fuck him, I'll get another bass player tomorrow'

By the end of the night The A&R man was shit faced and the band were his BEST mates! Wooagh! So much for professionalism. The night ended with me , Murray and Dave, the head of a&r, sitting in a motorway service station at 3am having a food fight with several tuxedo'd members of the Sheffield Symphony Orchestra

Thanks! Have searched around for this band an occasionally find the records on vinyl at gemm.com, but I'm really not that interessted in vinyl anymore.

Does anyone know if it was ever released on CD?

Can someone upload it here if you have it? Would love to hear the whole thing before I get another second hand vinyl.

Sorry, SS, I'm totally useless with computers. Can't get vinyl into it, have no clue how to convert to mp3 and don't have the internet at home... otherwise I would have helped
